Man Runs from Accident, Ends up Dying from Reckless Driving
A man has died and child was injured after their vehicle struck a fire hydrant, rolled over and crashed into the garage of a nearby home on Friday afternoon. The accident happened at Culver Avenue and Southwest Boulevard where emergency crews responded to the crash,
One person has been confirmed as having been pulled from the inverted vehicle and has been transported to a nearby hospital. He later died of his injuries. The child was treated at the scene of the accident, but was mostly unharmed thanks to being in a child seat. Police have determined that the driver was fleeing the scene of an accident and crossed the median before hitting the fire hydrant.
