Seven Injured In Fort Worth Crash
Seven people were injured in a car accident in Fort Worth on Thursday morning, according to this report from NBC DFW. The crash involved at least two vehicles. Four of those that were injured were children, although no one affected appeared to have life-threatening injuries.
This accident happened at about 8:30 in the morning. Emergency personnel rushed to the scene, which was located along the 5800 block of Kilpatrick Avenue, near the intersection of Bryant Irving Road and Camp Bowie Boulevard. This is on the west side of Fort Worth.
Of those involved in the crash, three children had to be extricated from the vehicle by emergency response professionals. They were not found to have critical injuries, however. The four children were taken to Cook Children’s Hospital. Aside from them, two adults also required hospitalization. One of the adults was taken to Harris Hospital. The other was taken to John Peter Smith Hospital.
It wasn’t immediately evident how this major car crash in the Como neighborhood came about. Police are actively investigating the accident’s cause. Thankfully, no one was seriously hurt or killed in this accident, although, judging by the extensive damage done to the vehicles involved, this crash could have easily become an even greater tragedy, especially considering the fact that children were involved.
