Three Crashes End In Fatalities Last Weekend
A number of crashes happened across Dallas County yesterday, including several fatalities. NBCDFW.com has the stories.
The first accident happened on I-30 near South Westmoreland Road. Three people were trapped inside of a crashed PT Cruiser. Two of the victims were taken to the hospital where they died. A five-year-old in the vehicle is in stable condition. The victims were reversing into a lane after assisting another driver and were hit by a truck.
The second accident happened on I-20. A body was reported in the road. Police say he was trying to cross the highway and was struck by a truck.
Later, another crash on I-20 brought Dallas Police out. A Dodge Charger went off of the highway and landed in someone’s backyard. Two people were taken to the hospital in that crash. One has since died.
Some days are like this. You never know when crashes are going to happen, so you must take steps to keep yourself as safe as you can. Most people will get into 3-4 accidents in their life, though not all of them involve injuries.
Keeping your insurance up to date and using your safety equipment on the road will go a long way toward making the pain of an accident much less.
